READY OR NOT...26.2

Yes, I know I have been a major BLOG slacker but it is fall now and I hope to try to post things about our family weekly. Between training for the marathon (this weekend, oct 4th), photo sessions, weddings, church duties, and watching 2 extra kids I just plain have no time.

I AM RUNNING the ST. George marathon this weekend. I need inspiring words of encouragement, I am scared to death. I love to run but I am not sure if FULL marathon's (26.2 miles) are for me. Say a little prayer for me around noon on Saturday...

Amanda, You will do AWESOME! You have trained a long time for this, and I am positive you will succeed! You are an inspiration to people like me who love to run, but not so sure I have the endurance for a marathon! Good luck!

You can do it girl!!! Don't get nervous just go and have a good time. Don't forget to use plenty of Vaseline especially in your unmentionable areas. It is a must! Ah the joys of running!

YEA for marathons!!! I am so sorry I can't be there to run with you. I am jealous you get to go the whole 26.2. The worst part for me is the .2 where you see the finish line and still have to get there. Good Luck, I am sure you will do great and feel tired and amazing. WOOHOO!!

Good luck Amanda we will be cheering for you at home! I have no running tips since I know nothing about running. Hopefully your toenails won't fall off. Our family is proud of all the work you have put into doing something that is important to you. Good luck, run hard, and do the best that you can do! Good luck, love ya!

Ok, so I just don't get you people. You love running?? Really, love it, are you sure? I am sure you will do fabulous and be stunned by your abilities, etc, etc. But still how can you love it. I have tried and tried and tried. And there are two things I just can't bring myself to even remotely like-1. Running and 2.6 a.m.Good luck and hopefully you will inspire me.
